Hyland is looking for a collaborative and innovative Agile Process Manager to join our Agile Delivery team. This position will provide you the chance to work in the capacity of Release Train Engineer working across programs to lead in the practice of agile principles, support dependencies across teams and actively work to remove impediments for the programs that you will support. What you will be doing
This role is a process leader of Agile teams, enabling clear communication and organization in support of business goals. This position applies servant leadership style in helping teams understand and implement Agile practices. The Agile Process Manager uses a network of relationships to remove impediments, maximize flow of value, and promote continuous improvement.
Lead program(s) in moderate to high complexity environments to practice and embrace/embody agile principles and techniques, and/or software methodologies
Plan and facilitate meetings for the purpose of decision making, idea generation, planning, continuous improvement, problem solving and alignment at program level
Guide programs and stakeholders in self-organization, collaboration around goals and/or objectives to optimize flow of value, facilitate collaboration between programs and technical specialists, including architects and supporting Centers of Excellence
Identify the nature and cause of impediments faced by program(s), identify and execute action plans to solve them
Collaborate and support one or more programs and stakeholders on backlog management using economic decision-making, team performance and risk management to deliver business value
Promote and ensure continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle at program level, leveraging metrics to identify and drive intentional change. Coach leaders at lower levels to do the same
Communicate with teams, programs, stakeholders, leadership and other necessary parties/departments to improve transparency
Collaborate with program(s) and stakeholders to identify and eliminate patterns of distractions and outside interruptions
Innovative thought leader connected internally and externally; proactively provide support, guidance and coaching to other community members, team level leaders and stakeholders at the program level; contribute to overall growth and quality of department through knowledge sharing on current best practices and market trends
Identify, visualize and work with others to manage dependencies within programs
Mentor, coach and train other team members
Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledge
What will make you successful
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience as an Agile practitioner
Portfolio and/or program management experience
SAFe Agilest (SA) certification
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate the ability to interact with others with discretion and professionalism
Excellent conflict management, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightness
Demonstrated ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
Sharp, fast learner with intrinsic curiosity
Excellent business and technology acumen
Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partners
Excellent competence in team facilitation
Ability to utilize servant leader mindset, open-minded, listens, empathizes, influences without formal authority, thinks beyond day-to-day activities
Must be a self-starter, facilitator, and negotiator
Ability to provide guidance and support to developing team members
Up to 5% travel time required
