As a member of our People & Culture Business Partner team, reporting to the VP, People & Culture – Corporate Services, Global Mobility & EMEA, in this newly created role, you will be responsible for:

Establishing a P&C Shared Services team that supports our employees across the globe and P&C team members, including potential Tier 1 – Tier 2 solutions and appropriate escalations

Identifying and implementing opportunities for increased positive employee experiences, including efficiencies, consistency in support etc. and implementing appropriate updates

Implementing a global technology solution that supports a shared P&C Operation’s approach and the appropriate change management

Obtaining the views of your customers on the service they have had and the service they would like

Defining and creating KPI’s to measure positive impact on employee experience by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends

Working closely with relevant HR Centers of Expertise and HR Business Partners to identify potential scope of services or processes for future transition to HR Operations

Leading day-to-day operations of the P&C Operations team, which will initially consist of all P&C Representatives (Generalists) as well as the P&C Team Assistant, to grow and develop as P&C professionals while also providing excellent customer service

Actively seeking out opportunities to learn from outside the company to bring new ideas/best practices into the company to accelerate our progress

Supporting/leading other P&C projects as needed

Requirements

4+ years in P&C, including ideally prior Business Partner/HR Generalist experience and/or Shared Services experience

3+ years of Project management and change management experience

Prior direct (ideal) or indirect (required) people leadership/team management experience

Ability to work with minimal guidance/direction and serves as escalation point as needed

Ability to exercise judgment and independently determine and take appropriate action

Data driven with the ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action through a personal initiative for problem solving

Impeccable communication skills, written, verbal, and interpersonal to include coaching, change management, influence and formal presentations

Ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships

Working knowledge and understanding of HR legislation/employment law, principles, policies, and procedures

Keen interest in our business and ability to learn quickly

Proficient in MS Office applications and HRIS applications (Workday preferred)

Up to 40% travel if role is US remote

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred

Exposure to Global HR teams and challenges

Current or prior experience at Viasat
