MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB The Digital Learning Research Lead will be responsible for conducting applied research on learning modules to improve interventions with a focus on teacher training and coaching, program design and development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. This position will play a key role in developing efficient remote and digital training modules, leading research efforts to document models in digital education development, connect internal and external stakeholders for information exchange, and designing education success metrics to track the impact and suitability of training paths. The Digital Learning Research Lead will also lead in proposal development concept design, and support research on remote education programs across all learning modules and paths, especially on the external workforce.
Working in collaboration with colleagues, this person will provide technical expertise, leadership, and coordination in the development, dissemination, and promotion of education program strategies, standards, and tools. Additionally, this position will work to encourage and facilitate the data-driven documentation of best practices and lessons learned, directed toward multiple internal and external audiences. MAIN DUTIES The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and areas of ownership of the Education Specialist:
· Lead the design of learning modules and paths within the company, both for internal and external teams, industry, and non-industry specific fields. · Conducts research and offers technical expertise in all aspects of the learning process, with a focus on remote and digital learning. · Constantly looks for improving remote learning methodologies and development, with a creative and innovative attitude. · Devise comprehensive implementation and monitoring and evaluation plans for new learning paths (in conjunction with subject matter specialists across the company). · Proactively seeks for data and technically driven ways to measure the success of learning modules and improve results according to pre-established criteria. · Liaise with internal stakeholders across teams and units to share information, identify areas to leverage expertise and learning, and promote innovative program development. · Encourage and facilitate the documentation of best practices and lessons learned in remote learning programs. · Other related tasks, as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Education Level · Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a college or university in Education, Teaching, Pedagogy or equivalent · PhD in Pedagogy, Education, or Learning Science with a focus on remote or digital learning (in progress, or last-year student are welcome) Experience · 2 years of work experience in education in a private or corporate environment · Demonstrated research expertise · Outstanding analytical skills, proven ability to quickly understand complex challenges and propose solutions in organized, articulate concept papers, reports, and proposals · Intermediate or better data visualization skills · An objective, problem-solving mindset, mental flexibility, and a “can-do” attitude, a having solution-oriented approach to every challenge · Second language speaker a plus · Knowledge or experience in language and linguistics a plus KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE · Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to assume responsibilities and take initiative · Data-driven attitude · Team player · Good communication skills, attention to detail, and self-driven with the meet tight deadlines are essential · Persuasive Communicator with a focus on transparency and building relationships · Problem solver with a drive for Continuous Process Improvement · Positive and energetic, thrives in all kinds of social situations, regardless of culture
