I’m looking for a researcher / virtual assistant to do a couple of tasks.

1) Create a spreadsheet containing the every song that has hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, from the beginning of the chart to the present. There should be columns for song title, artist, and date at #1. This information is available on Wikipedia; I just need someone to enter it all into a single databse for me.

2) If you are successful at task #1, I will ask you to proceed to collect ALL of the songs that have ever appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 chart from 1958-present, not just the #1s. For this, I need artist and song title, but not date. This task is a little more complicated in a couple ways. a) The information is less obviously available. I need someone who can hunt it down and enter it into spreadsheet form. b) There will naturally be many duplicates as songs move up and down from week to week. I need you to remove these duplicates, so that each song only appears once.
