I share the company profits with my team. I believe in shared success. Every month we share the profits at the end of the month once everything is reconciled. Even better, I keep them abreast of the numbers weekly so everyone knows where we stand. Sounds good, right?

The days in the month the work happened. Therefore, expenses immediately hit on our P&L but money lags. IT ALWAYS MAKES US LOOK LIKE WE ARE DOING POORLY!!
This system was meant to inspire, but it is doing the opposite. It looks like everyone is doing poorly because of the payment lag.
I would like to create a cool full color report that my accountant could add projected totals to show the real trend, minus the penalty the payment lag creates.
This report should let my account plug in numbers and projected totals in the month and show where we will likely end up…and show them how hard they are working. It should be exciting, not a crap excel document. I don’t want it be childish, but professional and exciting.
Anyway, something simple to add values to get outputs and look good.
My accountant will provide any info/excel equations needed
