Social Media Specialist – UK

Clients come to Qnary to become digital leaders in their industry and to their professional peers and colleagues—and to share smart and savvy social media content like LinkedIn posts and tweets with industry news and their unique point of view. The objective is to grow their personal brands to help better reflect themselves and their organizations, as well as to digitally connect and engage with a strategic network.

Qnary has a proprietary social media management technology to help clients do this easily – and to help our team of social media experts and client success managers to share social media content, growth, and engagement to our clients via our technology platform.

Our clients work directly with Qnary’s Client Success Manager team and our Social Media Strategy team. The social media strategy team is focused on delivering our clients’ content, growth, and engagement across LinkedIn (the primary platform) and Twitter (the secondary platform.)

The Social Media Specialist role is a “community manager” role for professional executives. It is focused on curating and creating the right content based on their industry, connecting and engaging with a target audience based on their strategic professional pursuits, and analyzing and reporting on what is working and what can be optimized. In partnership with the Client Success Manager, the Social Media Specialist is the brains behind our clients’ digital professional ecosystems.

This role will focus on content creation, copy editing, social media insights and analytics, social media paid media, and organic audience growth and engagement. The success of this role hinges on communication with your teammates in your department and within the Client Success Management department, as well as directly with your clients. Time management skills and a deadline-driven mentality are imperative.

Who You Are

Great writer with an eye for detail and a natural copyeditor
Knowledgeable about LinkedIn and Twitter
Adapt at analyzing social media data, analytics, insights and trends to determine what content is and isn’t garnering engagement, with creative solutions to adjust and optimize
Have great communication skills, and enjoy working as a team player
Comfortable working in a “newsroom-like” environment with weekly deadlines that must be met
Able to adopt different writing styles for different clients to match their tone of voice and connect with their preferred audience
Have the ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
Comfortable being in a client-facing role
Adaptable! Open to feedback, requests and edits that are needed
A Bachelor’s in Journalism, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing is preferred
