As a member of the Professional Services team, the Pre-Sales Consultant, Professional Services is responsible for the preparation, review and approval of services estimates for customer implementation projects in order to ensure the proper level of effort and solution fit, reducing risk and non-billable service time. This role supports sales with facilities under 1,000 beds.
Participating in both onsite and online pre-sales presentations with members of the sales team to position the value of PointClickCare professional services as a competitive differentiator.
Driving requirements and gathering with our customers during the sales cycle.
Translating customer requirements into a statement of work (SOW) or services proposal that will meet the customer’s overall business objectives, solution requirements, and cost and timeline objectives.
Conducting careful and timely reviews of service quotes with the goal to review overall accuracy and reduce non-billable service time.
Authorizing delivery of SOWs and other services proposals.
Supporting the maintenance of estimation process documents, tools and SOW templates. And providing ongoing feedback and process improvements on the review, preparation and confirmation of service estimates.
Facilitating project hand-off/customer hand-off meetings between Sales and Professional Services for won opportunities.
Assisting the sales team in reviewing and responding to request for proposals (RFP’s).
Proven experience in a Services or Software sales, Project Management, or Consulting role.
Experience presenting and negotiating services or software proposals.
Experience implementing software solutions and understands software implementation project lifecycle.
Ability to understand customer business needs in order to align the business need into PointClickCare system capabilities.
Experience in developing and presenting services proposals as part of a SaaS offering, including creating SOWs.
Knowledge on responding to and analyzing RFP/RFI/RFQs.
Strong written and verbal skills; including the ability to present technical issues to a non-technical audience.
Results driven with a proven ability to project a positive sales attitude.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present in a group setting.
Professional self-starter, able to work collaboratively with others.
