WooCommerce API Product Sync – Pass post_author ID – Upwork

WordPress websites:
– Website 01 (parent)
– Website 02 (child)

– WooCommerce
– WooCommerce Product API Sync (by obtaininfotech)
– WCFM Marketplace

Website 01 is a WooCommerce marketplace for a large shopping mall, with 6 vendors currently (stores – WCFM marketplace plugin), where each store has it’s own vendor ID. The vendor ID is a standard WordPress user that uses the post_author ID in WordPress.

Website 02 is a WooCommerce store of each single vendor (store) that I want to be synced with Website 01 (the parent marketplace).

Website 01 and 02 are automatically synced with the WooCommerce Product API Sync plugin via the WooCommerce REST API.

The issue:
When a product is synced between Website 02 and Website 01 (or vice versa), all the fields are transferred, except for the post_author ID. In result, the "store" field remains unfilled.

I need the post_author ID to be passed through the REST API as well.

More details:
I have created identical two WordPress instances with identical users (IDs), so the environment is ready for you to work on. I have hired a developer from India who couldn’t complete the task, so I’m quite frustrated, as I thought this should be easier.

This is my first Upwork project. I’m looking for a skilled developer, willing to pay very well for this small task, and cooperate in the future, as I have a 4-year contract for the marketplace platform with the shopping mall.

I’m not a programmer, but I know WooCommerce plugins/capabilities really well, and I’ll make all the efforts to support you / answer any of your questions immediately.

Kind regards,
